I educate new and expecting parents on the biology of newborn sleep and on responsive sleep shaping techniques that will support, guide, and encourage the development of healthy sleeping habits from day one.

NURTURE YOUR PARENTING INSTINCTS
Traditional approaches to newborn sleep leave parents feeling like there are little to no options until their baby is older -- or rather ‘of sleep training age’. While I have lots of compassion and understanding for parents who choose sleep training or controlled crying methods, you will not find any of those techniques here.
What you will find here are realistic, evidence-based alternatives that take several critical elements into account: your child’s personality and temperament, infant brain development, feeding and attachment, sleep biology, and responsive parenting styles.
I teach new and expecting parents that they do have options to supporting their newborns sleep -- and their own -- from day one.
My goal is to help parents deeply connect to and understand their child; their attachment style, their sensory needs, and their love language. What I enjoy most of all is seeing parents feel calm, confident, and empowered in their parenting, because they truly understand their child, the biological needs of their child, and themselves.
How does it work?
I partner with parents to understand their personal parenting styles, goals, and lifestyle, so that we can create a relevant approach to sleep and build healthy habits that will support an ever-developing child. As a Holistic Sleep Coach, here are a few details that I consider when looking at a and infant’s or child’s sleep:

DEVELOPMENT
Age, developmental stage, personality, temperament, sensory needs, exercise, play, daily routines, sleep habits, nutrition, allergies, etc.

Optimized and safe sleep environments, temperatures, lighting and exposure, noise, dressing for sleep, etc.
